Emily Jane St. Denny, 75, of Ogdensburg

Denny, age 75, of 901 Pickering Street, Ogdensburg, will be held on Thursday, April 19, 2018, at 10:00AM at St. Mary’s Cathedral with Rev. Justin Thomas officiating.Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery in the Spring. Calling hours will be held from 2:00PM to 4:00PM and 6:00PM to 8:00PM on Wednesday, April 18, 2018, at Frary Funeral Home, Ogdensburg.Mrs. St. Denny passed away surrounded by her loving family on Monday, April 16, 2018, at Claxton Hepburn Medical Center.Emily is survived by her two sons, Donald L. St. Denny II of Ogdensburg and Robert St. Denny and his wife, Kelly, of Riverdale, MD; four daughters, Laura Pearson and her husband, John Sr., Janice St. Denny, Pamela Mitchell and her husband, William, and Marcia Luck and her fiancé, Jamie Phillips, of Baytown, TX; fourteen grandchildren, fifteen great grandchildren and several nieces, nephews and cousins.Emily was born on August 24, 1942, in Duck River, TN, the daughter of Virgil and Florence Love Vincent. She graduated from Ahrens High School in Louisville, KY.Emily married Donald L. St. Denny on November 26, 1960, in Louisville, KY, where they lived for a year following their marriage. The couple moved to Ogdensburg briefly and then returned to Louisville where they remained from 1962 until 1972. In 1972, they moved back to Ogdensburg to spend the rest of their lives.Mr. St. Denny predeceased Emily on June 15, 2004. Emily first went to work for the Louisville Bat Company as a seamstress, she later worked at Compass, Mitel, and retired from Ansen Corporation as a production assembler.Emily enjoyed crocheting, reading, crossword puzzles and going on cruises. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.Donations may be made in Emily’s memory to the St. Lawrence Valley SPCA, P.O.
